1 Corinthians 2:16(Amplified Bible Classic)  For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

Every born again Christian has the mind of Christ. However, to know what the mind of Christ is, you have to study and meditate on the Word of God to find out what is the mindset of Jesus Christ. Remember that Proverbs 23:7 makes it clear that as a man  thinketh so is he. How you turn out in life is directly connected to how you think. How you think is directly connected to the information that you have had access to and fed your mind.

1 Corinthians 2:16 above makes it clear that you have the mind of Christ and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. As you study God’s Word you will get to know the thoughts, feelings and purposes of Jesus Christ. That indeed is right thinking. You will be able to think right like Jesus Christ, decide right like Jesus Christ and act right like Jesus Christ. If you meditate on the wrong information, your thinking will change from right to wrong and you will not be able to fulfil God’s destiny for your life.

Remember that 1John 4:17 makes it clear that “…….as He (Jesus) is so are we in this world…”.A good example of one of the characteristics of the mind of Christ, which is our mind too is clearly shown in the verse below.

John 4:34(Amplified Bible Classic) Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.

Jesus was not a sissy, murmurer or a quitter. Jesus was passionate, determined and so consistent that He was able to excellently accomplish and completely finish His work assignment in this world despite facing the most evil opposition and other daunting, killer life threatening circumstances.
