2Thessalonians 3:10-13 (The Message Bible) Don’t you remember the rule we had when we lived with you? “If you don’t work, you don’t eat.” And now we’re getting reports that a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings are taking advantage of you. This must not be tolerated. We command them to get to work immediately—no excuses, no arguments—and earn their own keep. Friends, don’t slack off in doing your duty.
It is good for us to always be compassionate and help those in need. However, we must always be on guard not to be taken advantage of by people who should have capacity to look after themselves but because of their laziness they become dependents.
Always desire to be able to earn your own upkeep and look after yourself, this is possible if you are diligent and not slack in carrying out your responsibilities. Remember a diligent hand makes one rich.
We invite you to attend the onsite Couples Marriage Course being hosted by Pastor Andrew and Pastor Bernadette Mutondoro who have been married for 25 years and are especially graced in the area of building and defending the family of God. This training will be on Saturday 15thFebruary 2025 onsite from 12pm to 5pm at The Healing School, 303 Pretoria Avenue, Randburg, South Africa.
