DO NOT TAKE YOURSELF AWAY FROM SUCCESS

1Samuel 16:1 (NIV Bible) The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
In the above verse God is talking to Prophet Samuel and He tells him that he has rejected (fired) Saul as king over Israel. Why did God fire King Saul? Read on below.
1Samuel 13:13 (NIV Bible) 13 “You (Saul) have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. 14 But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”
King Saul was fired for wrong doing. He did not do the command that God gave him. Wrong doing took away King Saul from the successful life that God had planned for him and his family. Wrong doing led king Saul to leave a terrible ignominious legacy of failure. Always do what God calls you to do in His Word and you will turnout a great success in life. Keep on doing God’s Word and sooner or later you will come back with a testimony of His goodness. Do not take yourself away from success through wrong doing.
