PRESS ON WITH CONVICTION
BOLTS OF WISDOM – 20TH JANUARY 2025

Philippians 3:13-15 (AMPC) 13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.15 So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also.
A conviction is a strongly held belief or opinion that you are unwilling to church. A conviction is one that you will hold onto as long as you are alive. A preference is something that you can change. In the verses above, Apostle Paul, the number one disciple of Jesus Christ in the New Testament section of the Bible makes it clear that we must grow to spiritual maturity and hold onto their godly convictions. He makes it clear that you must not allow your past experiences to stop you from making progress in-life. Do not allow your past successes to stop you from being inspired to do even greater exploits. Do not allow your past negative experiences to stop you from making progress, be focused on taking the necessary corrective measures and press on to accomplish God’s will for your life. You will have great successes and impact in 2025 our year of completeness, your year of completeness too.
