YOUR EXPECTATIONS WILL COME TO PASS
BOLTS OF WISDOM – 19TH JANUARY 2025
“Building and defending the family of God everyday.”
Proverbs 23:18(KJV) For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
The expectations of the righteous shall never be cut off. By the grace of God expect sudden massive all-round upgrades and completeness in your life as you give highest priority to God’s Word. The grace of God at work in you increases as you increase in the knowledge of God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ(2Peter 1:2).
Below is an example of how our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ brought sudden all round upgrade and completeness into a person’s life. The person had been demon possessed and lived among tombs (Mark 5:1-18). In Mark 5:18-20 below we see the man after Jesus cast out demons from him. Remember, Jesus was the Word of God in the flesh (John 1:1-5, 14). Therefore, prioritising Jesus is prioritising God, it is prioritising the Word of God and brings sudden massive, positive changes into your life.
Mark 5:18-20(AMPC) 18 And when He had stepped into the boat, the man who had been controlled by the unclean spirits kept begging Him that he might be with Him.19 But Jesus refused to permit him, but said to him, Go home to your own [family and relatives and friends] and bring back word to them of how much the Lord has done for you, and [how He has] had sympathy for you and mercy on you.20 And he departed and began to publicly proclaim in Decapolis [the region of the ten cities]
how much Jesus had done for him, and all the people were astonished and marveled.
The demon possessed man’s life was changed massively suddenly from living alone and naked in the cemetery to becoming a well clothed, successful and highly effective evangelist to the Decapolis (an area comprising 10 cities).
